Hole 13 in 2001
During the year 2001 I have taken a series of pictures to give impressions
of hole 13 of the home course of Golf Club De Berendonck
during the seasons and under various weather conditions.
Besides, many pictures of the course
and the beautiful area in which it is embedded, are shown.
As good practice I also took pictures of hole 13 on all other courses I played
this year...
Reasons to select this hole were the light and the view, since (normally) it is always possible to make pictures in daytime and almost all of the hole can bee seen. Pictures have been taken from the descriptive layout board on the ladies tee (I can lean comfortably against the board and, other than after a bad drive, it's a nice reason to be on that tee).
By clicking a picture, the same picture is displayed in a separate window
in better quality, but also slightly larger, generally about 50 to 100 KB
per picture.
Of many pictures I have even better quality (and size), but I don't want
to put an extra burden on the network.
Since I used an "old-fashioned" camera, not a digital one, and I wanted to
finish the complete film before developing, the filling of this page went in
bursts. But that's not a problem anymore...

So I did not play every time, not only because the course had been closed quite a lot this year. But I always had a enthousiastic fellow-competitor in Mickey, our golden retriever, to wander around the course and take pictures. And retrieving golf balls from water, ditches and bushes is someting we both like!
