Make your own Web page

If a web server is running on the machine that contains your home directory, you may create your own home page. To make it, do the following:

1. Make subdirectory public_html in your home directory.
2. Create an HTML file with name index.html in this subdirectory.
3. Show your home page with a web browser (e.g. Netscape) by specifying URL http://name.of.webserver.machine/~your_username.
